Focus on the Host Organizers Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region Given that the President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region, Massimiliano Fedriga, was designated as President of BSBF Trieste 2024, the Cabinet Office of the Regional Presidency was tasked with serving as the Contact Point. Since the candidacy phase, the Cabinet Office has liaised with the relevant Ministries (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, and Ministry of Universities and Research) and consistently acted as the go-between with the principal institutional entities involved in the event, ensuring coverage at regional, national, and international levels. Staff of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region from multiple offices performed both the role of Project Manager and carried out institutional communication and IT support activities. Area Science Park Provided promotional support for the event through its communication channels, as well as organized visits to research institutions. ILO Network Italia (Industrial Liaison Officer Network): CNR, ENEA, INAF, INFN A traditional and strategic partner, fundamental both for promoting BSBF 2024 to Italian companies and for creating the scientific programme, serving as a link with other European ILOs. ENEA provided one of its employees to serve as Director of BSBF2024. PromoTurismoFVG The entity designated by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region that issued the call to select the PCO, monitored all national and international promotional activities, and provided administrative and treasury support. 1.5.
